Genia Shelekhova

Genia manages all aspects of production with her stunning floral design and impeccable eye for lighting, fabric and furniture.

Eugenia "Genia" Shelekhova moved to the United States in 1995 from Ukraine and immediately made a name for herself in the floral and events industry as a freelance designer at several of the top firms in Chicago. In 2006, Genia joined Clint as studio manager responsible for overseeing all design aspects and overall production management for large- and small-scale special events.

Her impeccable eye, stunning floral design and ability to flawlessly bring together lighting, fabric treatments and furniture groupings place her at the top of the event design industry.

The rebellious era of Gay Paris, 1920, or the rebellious era of punk rock’s East Village New York, 1974. I’m a rebel at heart.

Where do you draw inspiration?
This one is too challenging, nothing is off limits from inspiration. I can be waiting in line at the DMV and find something that inspires me. This world is a curious phenomenon and is crammed with nooks and crannies waiting to be examined and reimagined.
